P&IQ

P&IQ is a programme of education for those working in the industry or with an interest in the industry can gain valuable knowledge of P&I, including the structure of the shipping industry, the history and operation of the Clubs and the different types of liabilities insured.

The knowledge gained is both academic and practical, allowing candidates to be acknowledged by their peers, managers, future employees, business partners, clients and customers.

Since we first launched P&IQ on behalf of the International Group in 2010 over 1,000 exams have been taken and P&IQ has become acknowledged as a unique and challenging professional qualification for the P&I industry. The programme has developed from written exams to online exams.

The P&IQ programme consists of seven modules covering the following topics:
